Documentary
As part of the centennial commemoration, the Guadalupe Centers commissioned Tico Productions, a local multi-lingual marketing agency, to produce a documentary film on the organization’s history. For close to five years, the Tico Productions team conducted over 70 interviews, identified and digitized 800 photographs, and captured 3,157 minutes of footage for the documentary. In addition, the team identified key themes and moments in Guadalupe Centers’ history and worked alongside staff, community members, and scholars Sandra I. Enríquez and Theresa Torres from UMKC to put together the final product.
Guadalupe Centers: 100 Years of Service is a 40-minute documentary detailing the organization’s history in seven chapters.
